WAMP installation of codeigniter

Hello fellow igniters,

I am brand new to CI and I am using the wamp setup for my developement. I am a little confused at to where I am supposed to put the codeigniter files?

Are they to be placed into the wamp/www folder?

Thanks as I have been looking on line and on this forum and not able to locate.
