i cant understand how to pop-up into a new window.Am using codeigniter and dont know about pop-up a window .So can anyone help me to sort out this kind of problem.

Pop-up windows are done using JavaScript, there many tutorials on the web how to do popup windows simple run a Google search, you could use a library like JQuery which has many pop-up window scripts. Normally you would handle this functionality within your actual view file.
