I am following the step by step guide, I have the problem that when I type a url, the constructor is called, but not the methods, the example I am doing is the following: Tutorial − News section - Tutorial - Create news items

I did just copy and paste, what can be the problem ?

Did you just copy&paste;? You know, a model i.e. needs a bit more, the usual anatomy.
May be just share a little bit more of your code - etwas konkreter eben.
