Possible to download a file from the web daily?

Going to this example URL, it will download a SQL Dump of my database. mysite.com/cron/my_database_backup_download

But I dont want to go to this url everyday to download this backup.

Is there an MAC application out there that will download this file to my desktop every day? Like a cron job?
