Asset Library

I have come to the conclusion I need a asset library for my codeigniter project. There's so many I don't know which would really fit my needs and hoping I could get a few suggestions on which route to go.

I'm looking for an asset library that I can be able to load assets through my template views and also if I need a special one for one page then I need it to allow me to have it place a special one at the end of the page maybe by passing it to the view from the controller.

Any suggestions?

I use the one from Bonfire (https://github.com/ci-bonfire/Bonfire/) as it is pretty robust.

I use it in a standard CI install and it works just fine.
