Question about Pagination URIs, maybe an intersting enhancement

Hello,

some things i miss with the pagination:

First:
I get URIs like that: "http://url.tld/some/site/10".
On other pages of the same project i want to extend the page uri's with an '.html'.
It seems to me that this is not possible for paginated uris, but would be a nice feature from my point of view.

If it is already possible to do thing, i would be happy to see how Wink

Second:
As i found out, the paging value in the uri will be an offset, not the page number.
I'd rather prefer to have the page number in my uri's.
Seems better to me, when i change al list from 10 to 12 entries per page, all links change (and my links , and bookmarks someone my have made..)

is this allready possible without much work, or will I have to do my own paginations for both 'problems'?

The first suggestion I think is possible, but you will need to strip the ".html" from the segment in your application. May you want to create a function to do this.

The second suggestion is possible, but there are a lot of applications based on CI, using the offset instead of a page number. But this could be an option in the config file.
