Restful API - PUT method

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me how to use restful api for PUT method? I had watched the tutorial on nettutsplus but it does not give any example of PUT. Rest all three (GET, POST, DELETE) are working fine but PUT is not working.

Anyone who can help?
