New to CodeIgniter : How to proceed?

Hello Friends,

I am new to codeigniter. Probably starting right now. Apart from the http://ellislab.com/codeigniter/user-guide/ User guide, what shall I look into.

I am looking for writing small to big applications/websites/softwares, I hope CI will help greatly in this.

Which IDE I can use, Netbeans has been my favorite for php so far.

Kindly help.

I suggest going to nettuts and looking at the many tutorials that are on that site as it really helps out a lot of newer users of the framework. As far as IDE is concerned. I prefer to use phpDesigner 8. An IDE and a framework really don't have a lot in common. Unless you are looking for code complete or something like that.
