Well, i am not sure if this is CI specific question but since i'm developing CI full time now, i figured i might as well ask here..
Does anyone know how sites like Yelp, Facebook, MySpace collect email contacts from my yahoo/gmail/hotmail accounts? (You've seen it.. when you register, it asks you if your contacts are already on the site.. then asks you to enter your email/password, claiming that they'll never save that info or spam your friends unless you ask them to.... then sends them a message saying that you're there)
Is there some API that I can tap into?
