CI3 User Guide TOC

•The CI3 user guide now has dual navigation, providing the familiar drop-down TOC for those who prefer it.

Thank you! That TOC was one of the things that drew me to CodeIgniter in the first place - it was possible to read a single screen and figure out where I needed to go.

A suggestion, though - is it possible to have a static version of the dropdown, such as what was available at http://www.codeigniter.com/user_guide/toc.html? I always had that TOC in my browser toolbar so I was just a single click away from seeing the entire framework.

The Javascript for the pulldown TOC stores your current setting in a cookie. If you have the user guide bookmarked, whether locally or on the codeigniter.com website, it should come back with the same menu style as when you last switched it.

I see what you mean - that is basically the pulldown menu, but formatted as a stand-alone page.
I'm not sure how easy that would be to generate with sphinx, but will look into it.

btw - the CI2 user guide was manually crafted ... more work but more tailored.
