Cjax 5.9 for CI

Cjax is a small lightweight Ajax Framework with MVC principles that integrates into CI Framework and other MVC PHP Frameworks. And can work independently without a framework. ( see 50+ samples: http://cjax.sourceforge.net/examples/)


There will be a maintenance release of cjax (http://cjax.sourceforge.net/)  for CI.

The current latest release is 5.8 and has proven to be rock solid stable,  not significant bug reports.

5.9 maintenance release rebuilds some of the core for scalability , for heavy duty.

Cjax has proven to be a very stable project, and believe it or not has been around since 2006, so it is its 10th birthday. 

The CodeIgniter version/integration has been around since 2012 so has been around for 4 years.

I always  received good compliments and I am glad that is very useful to so many devs.


From what I hear, Cjax 5.8 is not compatible with CI 3 unfortunately. But I don't think it will be hard to create an integration with 5.9.

There is another dev assisting with the integration along with a new big version of CJAX 6.0 wi.  In the mean time,  we'll be releasing 5.9.

Changes mainly address scalability.
