OpenFlashChart with CI

A better charting tool is FusionCharts. (http://www.fusioncharts.com). They're EXTREMELY neat and also free with NO limitations on features. It's looks even more professional than Google Charts and Open Flash Charts and also features a printing feature and unlike the others, also provides a way to save the charts as an image. I posted a topic a while back about how to implement it.

Nobody's trying to steal anyone's thread. I've seen posts with alternatives a million times. I've [unsuccessfully] tried finding flash charts that could be implemented with CI. Why are we being so sensitive about who's freakin 'thread' this is? I have no vested interest in either packages. I thought this was a COLLABORATIVE forum. I could care less what people use. I just wish somebody had've told ME about fusion charts. Get off your admin high horse....

Iverson, thanks for posting this, i'm currently using OpenflashChart but i'm always on the lookout for alternatives.

Excuse the typo. The Fusion Charts EVALUTATION version IS free. Taken from their website:
Quote:FusionCharts Trial is a no-restriction evaluation of the actual component i.e., there are no days and feature limitations in this trial. The only difference is that in the trial version charts, "FusionCharts" and "InfoSoft Global" imprints would be present.

The whole point of my post was that there is a company out there who makes Flash bearable for the Flash haters of the world such as myself. If you actually looked through their chart galleries and even their mapping galleries (which is second to none), you would see that it's even worth the $69. Like I said before, I could give a crap what other people use. I was simply offering a different solution since I've gone through Open Flash Chart and Google's Chart API and have found limitations with both of them.

If people would stop trying to find something wrong with posts and take them at face value, this forum would be a lot more useful. I wouldn't expect so-called programmers to be so socially apprehensive. Leave that to the non-geeks, people! PLEASE let this be the last post on this topic before I get accused of stealing a thread again.

Ok, thanks for clarifying that. I just looked at the "Buy now" page and didn't read about the trial version.

If people would stop being offended so easily it would be nicer, too...

You were saying it's free (like the OP's solution), I checked their website and found out that it's not free. I didn't mean to be picky or take things at face value, just missed the fact that the trial version has all features and no limitations. You clarified that. So let's all be friends again, ok?
