No. 32 of the top used passwords made me laugh. Honestly, that is not my password at all :-)

I found a list of the top ten used pin numbers the other day, mine was number 4 on the list - and there was I thinking I had been really ingenious in my original thinking!!!!

I recently had a client give me an account login, and his password was "12345678".

I am using keepass.

On my test machine is the password password or abc123 Big Grin

So how exactly do you choose a password for, say, your email account, that is memorable, but secure enough (ie not a truly random and complex set of characters), and not so long that you take ages to sign in?

It seems such an impossible game to win at that I think that is why most people just think a simple one will do, and if anyone cares enough to hack your account then so be it, just do not have any truly sensitive data in it.

I use a simple password for sites I don't care about them getting it for secure sites I have a very strong long password.
