Idea on how to do a front end booking system

Hi all,

I am working heavily on a booking system and i am trying to figure out one thing.

I want the system to go through each day going forward and find out by going through the database if there is something booked or not. So then its able to display a list of times available for each day.

E.g. say its showing a list of times for monday for 30 minute intivals. But someone has already booked at 10.00am. So it check and shows the following.

9.00am
9.30am
10.30am
11.00am
 And so on.

There is a booking system based on CodeIgniter called Easy!Appointments. Maybe you can inspire by them.
