Looking for help for newbie

#1
I'm a complete newbie at CodeIgniter. Have some basic understanding of PHP. Looking for someone to Google Hangouts screen share with me once or twice a week for an hour each time to walk me through some basic issues I'm having as I learn CodeIgniter and to help me make my first app. I'm west coast time and it would be early in the morning. I'm willing to pay someone by the hour.

I think that such questions are unacceptable and need to be stopped,
and instead they need to ask a question that can be answered,
example: "how to connect to the database in the controller or model ?"
- Such questions will be correct in my opinion and they are easier to answer even a person who does not know English very well
(like me).
I would change this world, but God doesn't give me the source.

Sorry but I' am on the East Coast EST.

I check the forums here three to four times a day so I' am sure
that you would get your answer.

Otherwise I can hookup with you on weekends through Skype and TeamViewer.

Just let me know ahead of time.
What did you Try? What did you Get? What did you Expect?

Since I can't communicate verbally because English is not my native language,
I can only offer you help in writing, but on one condition:
You will ask clearly posed questions without unnecessary phrases to make it easier for me to understand you.

Great!!
Maybe you'd like to start from here to understand the basics of CodeIgniter and the MVC architecture: https://www.codexworld.com/codeigniter-t...r-scratch/
For a few running examples (they were very useful to my learning), take a look at http://ci-flexigrid.sameershemna.com
But they are in CI 2.2...
You can use DataTables instead of Flexigrid, too. DataTables is alive, while flexigrid isn't...
Look at https://www.codexworld.com/codeigniter-d...rocessing/

Cheers!!
