limitations of setting a controller as default

Are there any rules on setting a controller function as default on from the config?

I noticed that having a controller named something like this "SomethingController" doesn't seemt to work when being used as a default from the config. I am sure that the controller works, because you can run it if you pass throught the url, and it runs with no problem. Now, what if I follow that nameing convention as for my controller classes, as well as their filenames? is it a limitation of codeigniter that I can't use names like that?

Right now, i will be forced to use something like "something.php" as the filename (which also goes with the class) to be able to set a controller as the default.

Any ideas?
