Ion Auth Forgot Password email

I'm new to Codeigniter, I'm trying to install Ion_auth it's working fine. But forgot password email not sending. "Password Reset Email Sent" massage is showing. but there is no email receiving. I followed https://avenir.ro/authentication-system-with-ion-auth-and-ci3/lets-install-ion-auth-library/  this tutorial.

If your running on localhost then you would need to use like gmail or install a local mail server.
You will have to edit your php.ini file and setup the email it it also.


For Windows you can download and install this email server very simple.
