These kinds of questions come to mind because you like to improve yourself. But, the question is: what is the capacity of your web site / project? Do you have thousands of visitors per day? Is it a kind of shopping website? If yes, I believe you would already have a good team and would not need such answers.
For any user Apache + Litespeed is pretty good. They are provided by hosting providers as default. And there is no special thing for CodeIgniter, If I am not wrong. So, there is no reason to change from Apache to Nginx if you do not have any specific reason. You can read any article on Google or watch any video on YouTube. |
