Current or upcoming version of the framework

Hello,

In the Download page (Download CodeIgniter), it is written "CodeIgniter 4 is the current version of the framework"
and in the Documentation page(CodeIgniter Documentation) "CodeIgniter 4 is the upcoming version of the framework" "CodeIgniter 3 is the current version of the framework"

What is the current version, although i think it is version 4 ?

4 is the current version. It was released in february 2020.
