hi,
I've been through a lot of posts dealing with the assets issue but none of them worked for me in the way I want it to be.
Actually the sites I develop using CI work fine and the front displaying is ok, my problem actually is the design time.
I use Dreamweaver to design my sites and DW puts his template files in a directory on the root, and call it "Templates".
I had to use the base_url tag to make the css and images display properly at runtime by making the urls absolute, but this doesn't work in dreamweaver of course since it expects the css & images to be in a relative path to the DWT template file.
Anyone found a way to make sites display properly at design & run time without having to tweak the base path before running applications ?
