Bug / feature? XML RPC and XSS cleaning.

Hi there,

not getting much luck with this in the other forum, mainly as what turned out as a question turned into a possible bug/flaw/feature within the RPC client code and the way it works.

the gist of it is that any response from a server application is getting XSS cleaned regardless of the config setting, which is at odds with what is stated in the user guide re XSS cleaning.

I posted a possible solution.. wouldn't mind someone CI having a gander.
