Best practices with site preview and saving changes.

I have a custom backend cms. I have a form with a wysiwyg. They want to be able to preview what the poage will look like. Just wondering what others have done or would suggest.

I'm thinking popup, and I've thoght about saving all the changes when you preview, then if they don't like them they can go back. But obviously thats not the best solution, because they may get the impression that they can just preview and then leave and changes will not be committed.

Hopefully my rambling is clear enough to understand.

I would submit it to a popup window. It's a good idea to keep the preview separate from the edit so the user does not get confused if it's saved or not.

Thats my plan, however how do you get the post data to the popup without using a temp table or saving ti first?
