Collin,

If you check the url that awpti gave (http://ignitedjobs.com/addjob/) you that the function in the controller is not the same to run validation.

So i guess it's in the first function, probably in the addjob() that the problem is, because he didn't initialized the fields and rules for validation class.

So it's a basic problem... with a basic solution but awpti have to answer and post his code to analyse it further.

Well, neither could we peak at his config/routes.php, so no telling whether it was the same controller method or not. I'm just glad he figured it out.

I didn't even think about codeigniterjobs.com - I think I like ignitedjobs.com anyway.

Mine is more general (though with an obvious tilt towards CodeIgniter-experienced developers). It'll cover Administrative jobs, programming, project management.. pretty much anything a recruiting firm or individual can come up with that fits within the general idea of "tech".
