Randy, as I stated, my conclusion looking at the source is the same (in fact I had already committed the change), I didn't equate it to only the overhead of a function call. You're just assigning it more weight in terms of application performance than I am, particularly in something that's only invoked in the Upload library, and only once in such a request .
