Yes, that is the case. Basically I could have approached it two ways: could have just made a dedicated edit page, or modify the create page to fill in values if passed an existing object. I didn't want to make that decision for the users of Ignition. (A decision I regret, but haven't added that functionality into the script/templates yet.) It'd be pretty trivial to add, but haven't had the chance.

ok no problem just checking but easy enough to add in, posted on another forum about a Crud script I created to see if CI has a way to prefill in value fields on form.

I used HTML Quickforms before that had a cool set defaults feature.

There are just so many ways to skin that cat...thats the main reason I didn't add that in myself.

I used Istanbul Desktop Session Recorder (I think, its been a while)
