So I figured this out, thanks very much for all of your help! You were right, I had installed the database via terminal and it uploaded to a different location. That's why it was not showing up in MAM...

**Update** I downloaded a copy of my live database from the server to my local computer but I still can't access it. I tried removing the user and password (leaving the DB name) and still nothing....
