release of codeIgniter 1.7.1 ???

Do any one know when may be the next release of codeIgniter 1.7.1 as when i have upgraded to codeIgniter 1.7.0 i have faced some major issue, which made me to degrade again to CI 1.6.3.

Some of the the main issue i am facing are

So i am waiting for next release of codeIgniter 1.7.1.

Yeah... they are falling behind in the bugs for the 1.70/1.71 release. A lot of fixes I am needing fixed as well. For now, I just do the custom hack job in the core and verify the same changes are made when I go to upgrade.

I am having problems with one project I was on and I didn't upgrade the other client projects.
