Is it ok to encode codeigniter?

Hello,

I have developed an application using CI that i want to sell ( actually, monthly license ).

Is it ok to encode my application and CI with ioncube?

I haven't modified anything on CI, just added my controllers and views.

Thanks,

Fernando.

well since CI lets you modify pretty much anything you want i wouldnt see anything wrong with it. just remember to include the CI license.txt file with the package.

Technically speaking, CI is 100% compatible with ionCube.

If the CI core files are untouched, why encode them? Just encode your own code.

I agree with Cahva, only your application code belongs to you and should be encoded.
