CI doesn’t work on my website ...why??

Hello every body

today put my first code online..

but it doesnt work online

i changed the conf file

it was working in my PC

but online it shows me 404 Error in every page

can any body help me ?

Hi,

Without any further information it would be hard to diagnose your problem. But when you say it worked on your PC but not online I assume that you mean when uploaded to your remote server?

If this is the case maybe you need to make sure the config files eg config.php, routes.php and database.php are all set up to point to the appropriate base URL and database etc. Otherwise you will need to post more information to help trouble shoot your problem.

coz i have hosting fro godaddy and i dont have .htaccess file

I noticed you stated you used GoDaddy, which can be a rather troublesome hosting environment, but the instructions in that post work on all the GoDaddy accounts I have worked with.
