EckoSession help

hi

i tried to do some debuging on this lib http://codeigniter.com/wiki/EckoSession/
using log_message (log_message('error', 'message'))
i placed one at start one at read and one at write

the start and read messages are logged correctly the one at write never shows anyone has any idea why ?
