codeigniter not running in xampp 1.7.4 unable to load data from database

Note: I have CodeIgniter 2.0 ruuning on Windows 7 Pro with XAMPP 1.7.4

So you must have something setup wrong.

If you are running on a Windows platform do not! Put xampp in the c:\Program Files or c:\Program Files(x86) directory place it in the root c:\xampp

There is a problem with Windows.

my codeigniter pages n connectivity is working fine with xampp 1.7.3 for windows but when i tried the same project on xmapp 1.7.4 for windows and xampp 1.7.2 for linux

it works (simple html form )

on submit
when database connectivity come it does not give any output

above is working fine in xampp 1.7.3
