Hello,
I am new to CI and am having a challenge getting my head around it. Video tutorials don't always work for me whereas step-by-step how-to's do. The challenge with that is all the tutorials I have found to date use CI 1.7.x
Trying to use those tutorials in conjunction with CI 1.7.x and I encounter PHP errors due to deprecation for both my LAMP and WAMP development systems use PHP 5.3. I've run into problems using CI 2.x on tutorials designed for CI 1,7.x for the differences in the two CI versions.
I've looked but can't find a good how-to get started with CI 2.0. Can anyone share some resources or solutions to the problems outlined above?
