I have designed a few sites using CI for organizations and am wondering if there is a way to claim all of my controllers, models, and views as my own intellectual property? I am afraid one organization may try replacing me and after the hundreds of hours I've put in as sweat equity, I don't want them to end up with someone else taking over my application.
I realize that CI is an opensource application and has it's own license but the controllers, models, views, and database design is entirely of my own creation. Just curious what others do about protecting their code.
