Controller class not found

ok, i am slightly confused with the naming convention here...

can the modle class name and file name be in name case? ex Home > Home.php or Home class be put in home.php?

Your "home" controller must have the class name "Home" and be saved in
application/controller with the filename "home.php".

it is now working. it was the naming convention that threw the spanner for me!

i was aware of the naming convention that was what i followed but then when it gave a different error message in the beginning i changed it according to a post i found in the forum archive.
