Just wanted to mention that this forum saved my hide this morning after I worked all night and most of the morning trying to hook up Flexigrid with our MySQL data with PHP/Json -- A suggestion back in April, to put the code that starts with
$("#flex1").flexigrid
in the body rather than the head -- that's what made everything work after a long night of blank screens and simplifying with no results -- but i wonder why putting it in the head works in the examples (ie Kietel's PHP example) and not for some of us?
I also had the "could not modify header information" problem, which went away, but I don't know why. The sign that it was working was that browsers (IE, Firefox) would prompt to download the remote file rather than render it -- but the downloaded file had the output for debugging.
