Hi there,
Forgive me for my relative ignorance, but I am just working on a project that is a bit like a dictionary. I was wondering how to best implement some semantic markup so that the web app could eventually be used for useful stuff by other people (mashups, apis etc) or for example to display to a machine the relationship between words (like a particular word's symonyms etc).
I have been reading a bit about Semantic markups and ontologies e.g. RDF and OWL but I can't get my head around them too well.
Has anyone out there made Codeigniter apps with such semantic data before? or is it a waste of time? obviously I would rather put it in now whilst I'm building the app than have to retrofit it.
