Adding a CMS to a CI Application
#1

I have a basic CI application with about 4-5 controllers. There's also a few, basic, "static" pages which will occasionally need to be edited by admins. Is there a simple CMS that I can drop in to control these pages, or will I be better off investigating WYSIWYG and building my own basic CMS-like controller?

[There's no budget for this unfortunately, so ruling out EE etc]

PyroCMS will let you do this. Most CMS' won't let you just throw in controllers willy nilly but Pyro won't get in the way. You can leave your controllers exactly as they are or make them into a custom module, whichever.

Cool. I did have a quick look at PyroCMS but assumed I'd have to rewrite everything as a module, which for the sake of a few pages seemed like the tail wagging the dog. As it is then, Pyro could be a pretty nice fit. Cheers.
