more than one uri segment... is it a good practice?

Hi,

I'm passing more that one ID's from a database table to generate page content. Usually URI segment (3) i found on most of the examples. But I've uri segments 4/5/6 and so on. Is it a good practice? Or I need to keep the rest of ID's to session date? Please advise

Well, it depends on the situation. I never had used more than 2 segments to pass ids (3 and 4). But it is better to keep your url short, the more uri segment you have, more chances for some user being destructive by typing anything in those segments.
