Is there a tutorial out there for facebook connect?

I hear that a lot of people are using elliot's library for facebook connect (http://www.haughin.com/code/facebook/).

I'm new to codeigniter and I'm fairly new to php kinda too, but learning...

Anyway, is there a well written tutorial out there on how to create a facebook connect login so that I can have people register that way?

I didn't find such a tutorial. Somehow everyone is keeping that one to themselves. The library you linked seems very nice, but it is about Facebook opengraph not Facebook connect. I've agreed in another topic a few days ago to make (and post afterwards) Twitter oAuth as well as Facebook connect using ion-auth library. I'll make a blog post about it, while i'm at it. Alas it will have to wait a few days, since FB isn't a priority of mine.

Facebook twitter etc all use OAuth for connections now.

well it would definetly be great if someone could post a full tutorial on how to implement facebook connect! I'm new to codeigniter and sort of new to coding in php.
So something like the tutorial I linked above, would be very helpful for CI 2.0 and a newbie like me.

And that library is for facebook connect as well.
