Hello!
Soon it'll be two years since I started with CodeIgniter and coding with my first PHP framework. Currently I'm not into PHP and I'm working on desktop apps, but in few weeks I think that I will start with my new web project. Because I need to prepare everything to start working on it, I was looking at CodeIgniter which is my first framework, but when I looked at the version on official website it seemed that project is paused. After a little Googling I found out that on GitHub is newer version 3.0 which is already prepared for production, but you need to compile documentation yourself. On the other forums everyone talks about other framework and some says that CodeIgniter is not anymore popular as before, so I actually don't know what is it true.
Can you please tell me what is with CodeIgniter, because it's the framework which I really know and I would like to use it on projects in future. When will be the new version available on official site and why isn't already published?
