What problem are you having?
At first glance it could be that your calling users.php when you should be calling something like 'admin/users'.

It looks OK, the only thing I see that you could try is instead of

This is not really a CodeIgniter issue: this has to do with javascript. So install Firebug, and tell us what the response is of your Ajax request (if any) else we can't really help you.

404 Not found
Any comments about that?
