@Kip zonder Kop :

To organize pages : It's a little bit complex...
1. Take your mouse in your hand, no matter if it's the right or the left one,
2. Click on the "page folder" in the main tree view and, very important, hold down,
3. Move slowly the folder to the wished place in the tree...
4. Take a coffee, it was hard! Wink

You're totally right for the point 2. There is no organization on the view list.
Will study your proposal.

About the Ionize project : Yes, I'm working during my sleep !
More seriously, I'm working the day for my employer, the evening for my freelance activities.
Ionize is a tool I developed with the participation of Too Pixel and m4rw3r (many thanks to them !) to provide a serious CI CMS solution to my clients and to all other webdesigner / developper who want to use it.
Don't worry about my time : I developed ionize as it is, so I will manage the further evolution of this CMS.

The next version will include all the users good remarks and some other functionalities coming from using it in projects.

About the organization :
We currently have an Assembla space for the project (no code on it, just project management) and a private SVN storing the code.
I also opened a contribution thread in order to extend the Ionize team. The main purpose is to extend the team to motivated and reliable people, with several contribution level :
- Head team members : People committed in project on all domains : Strategy, UI, code, technical choices, etc.
- Main contributors : People who contribute to one given point (coding, documentation for example)
- Contributors : People with some limited contributions (time limitation, want not to be committed in the project)

Will think about using GitHub concerning the code management.

I feel extremely stupid. Serious. As a windows user for a very long time whenever I wanted to copy or rename a file, I rather opened a cmd box and did it on the command line then by drag and drop. It's only since spaces in file names is more common then not that I use the UI. I'm kind of old-fashioned.

Will you have me as a contributer after my drag and drop blooper?

You're certainly not stupid!
This misunderstood simply show us than what can be evident for us is perhaps not evident for users!
We have to create a little backend documentation !

... depends... do you make the coffee ? Smile

I must say the backend and frontend of this CMS is very slow on my local setup, please work on a way to make this faster because it takes too long to load. Some caching of Data is definately necessary to speed this thing up.

@easylancer :
1. You're working with Xampp : Change it !
2. Your PC / Mac was tested for the 2000' bug ? Think about changing...
3. Ionize is really too slow : Don't hesitate to develop a caching system.
4. You definitely don't like Ionize ? Change ! They are several other products in the Open Source world Wink

@Michel-Ange
1. Working on WAMP : No issues with no other projects!
2. Using Windows 7 Mate, not 98
3. I have one already developed, just need direction integrating it
4. I hope that is meant to be a joke.

Speaking of performance, when I try to enable the CI profiler in page.php, it doesn't really work? Most of the data is missing, the section headings are missing, etc. Any idea why, or how I can enable profiling with Ionize?
#78

[eluser]Michel-Ange[/eluser]
@easylancer : yes, it was a joke.

But I'm serious about your caching system. If you feel integrating it, don't hesitate !

I apologize, I forgot to clean some details concerning the profiler.

The solution :
1. Delete the application/librairies/MY_Profiler.php file, not used anymore
2. Comment the language function in the file application/libraries/MY_Loader.php (line 340)

... and the profiler will be back from outer space !

You can enable it directly from Base_Controller (in Librairies/MY_Controller.php)

These bugs will be corrected in the 0.92. Thanks guys !
