Code Documentation

Greetings All,

I am interested in something that will generate code documentation from comments in the code. I was looking at phpDocumentor (http://www.phpdoc.org/) however I would not want my documentation to track a bunch of the CI system files, just the ones that I specify, like from the models and controllers directories most specifically.

Anyone have any ideas or anything they use?

Give DoxyGen a try. I actually never really used PHPdoc yet I know that you can have a really fine grained configuration for how DoxyGen will handle your specified files.
It's working pretty fast and accepts I think all of the PEAR:HP DocBlock comment standards.

Yet only the generated layouts are kinda... old-fashioned

And you can have it run in a non gui-based way (i.e. console based) so you can have it run every night on your server which checks out the most recent master branch of your repository. Or something like that
