Auth Library with profiles.

Hello, I'm new to codeigniter and had a question.
Is there a way to integrate profiles with the auth library dx auth?
When the user signs up, they will have their own page index.php/profile/username where they can edit an about me section in control panel that will display on that page
How would I go about doing this?

What would be the first step?
