Java/1.6.0_16 Bot

I just got 100 sessions set in about 30 seconds by a bot with the user agent :Java/1.6.0_16.

Should I be concerned?

Also how does CI decide a new session should be started? Occasionally i see users get two sessions at once in the database table. In this case about a 100!

100 sessions is quite a bit. There are some Java based web-crawlers out there. if you want to block it it's up to you and very easy to block things like that with your .htaccess file
