I have to agree about optimizing DM to reduce its overhead... Maybe there is a way we can setup 1 master object with all the configs that are global so when we load a new object it only has to hold its own values/ config and not a config that is used throughout the whole site...

Because there is A LOT of stuff that is repeated in 1 query from datamapper be it $d = new D(); $d->get(); or w/e you feel like using...

mind you I dont need it optimized for getting so many rows... just would be nice to get it down below the php.ini's maximum...
