Still doesn't seem to be working, here is my .htaccess file:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond $1 !^(index\.php|assets|robots\.txt)
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?$1 [L]

The last line is because I am using QUERY_STRING

And yes, my base_url is "http://reportermag.com/beta/ads/adrequest/"
