That's really weird, I tried PyroCMS on Wampserver earlier today and it was working fine. Do you have access to a computer using Windows XP or Vista? It could be an Windows 7 problem, however I highly doubt it.

I also recommend installing MySQL 5.0.51a, the default Wamp installation comes with a version mismatch (the MySQL client is newer than the server I believe, or the opposite).
