Let me share a bit of information about the couple of frameworks I have used in the past, this will help.
Mojavi: Don't bother. It's no longer supported, the community is dead. The idea was great, but it needed alot of work. We use it for a very large application and it takes much more work to get mojavi doing something than things like Code Igniter.
CakePHP: Great framework, slow progress typically. Their 1.2 will be nice but it is bloated and can be difficult to find help with. Their IRC channel is active, but if you are not good at figuring things out on your own with API docs, don't bother atm. 1.1 is table, but 1.2 is basically an entire rewrite and code is not backwards compatible. 1.2 is still a ways out from being production I think (a few months I would bet).
