Extracting the first image and string of text from a piece of HTML

Hi all,

I simply need to grab the first image, and then the first - say - two sentences from a piece of HTML (an RSS item): how would I do this?

And then, how would extract all the image URLs from a piece of HTML, and add them to an array?

I assume this is perfectly easy using regex but I'm hopeless at it!
